Power Electronic Lab - ECE - UBC | Full time Electrical Engineer / PhD Vancouver (UBC), Canada | Posted on 08/16/2023 We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer to join our power electronics lab. In this role, you will work on developing and maintaining hardware/software solutions for our energy management and power scheduling systems. Key responsibilities: - Design and implement hardware/software solutions for energy management and power scheduling - Collaborate with a crossfunctional team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to integrate software solutions into our power electronics products - Develop and maintain hardware/software documentation and testing procedures - Troubleshoot and debug hardware/software issues Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's and Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field - Experience in hardware/software development, preferably in energy management or a related industry - Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. C++, Java, Python) - Proficiency in PCB design - Strong problemsolving and communication skills If you are passionate about power electronics and have a track record of success in hardware/software development, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
