Overview Foot Care Nurse Job in Oshawa, ON Elements Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Foot Care Nurse (RN or RPN) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Position Overview The Foot Care Nurse will provide safe, high-quality foot care services and patient education to support overall foot health and prevent complications. You will play an important role in caring for patients with routine and high-risk foot conditions, including diabetic foot care, within a collaborative clinical setting. Compensation 50-60% split Qualifications - Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario - Certification or training in Advanced Foot Care Nursing preferred - Valid professional liability insurance - Strong knowledge of foot care procedures and infection control standards - Excellent communication and patient care skills - Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive foot assessments and provide individualized care plans - Deliver routine foot care including nail trimming, callus reduction, corn care, and skin care - Monitor and support patients with diabetic and high-risk foot conditions - Educate patients on proper foot hygiene, footwear, and preventative care strategies - Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation - Follow strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols - Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals Skills - Strong patient assessment and clinical care skills - Proficiency in routine and preventative foot care procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Strong documentation and organizational skills - Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care - Ability to educate patients on foot health and prevention Benefits - Flexible full-time or part-time schedule - Supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team environment - Full administrative and booking support - Fully equipped treatment room and clinic resources provided - Utilities and operational costs covered - Established referral network to help grow your caseload - Marketing and promotional support to expand your services - Modern, professional clinic setting Apply today to join a clinic committed to delivering high-quality care and helping patients maintain long-term health and mobility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
