Further to this, we move to support our clients' evolving needs and as such strategically pursue opportunities to expand our suite of products and solutions.**Job Summary:**We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join a growing TDS Global Core Trade platform. Reporting to the Director Core Trade, the candidate will be responsible for supporting senior members of the Core Trade team in providing TF product coverage, structuring advice, working capital and risk mitigation solutions to multinational corporates and financial institution clients. A collegial and team-oriented view of success is very important to allow the candidate to fit into the team. Having an entrepreneurial mindset is critical to manage through the ambiguity and change associated with growing a business.**Job Description/Accountabilities**:* Support senior Core Trade originators to meet existing client needs and identify new Core trade finance opportunities.* Become familiar with TDS clients and their Core Trade needs across industries such as: Financial Institutions, Communication, Media, and Telecom, Diversified, Consumer Products, Industrials, Utilities, Technology and Municipal Finance.* Review financial statements and conduct other market research to source potential Core Trade business development opportunities.* Collaborate with key product partners including CIB, DCM, Derivatives, FX, Rates and other TDS business lines to promote the continued growth of the Core Trade business.* Preparation of client pitch decks term sheets for Core Trade products.* Arrange / engage in business development calls with Core Trade clients and preparation of call reports.* Support the negotiations, execution and closing of Core Trade documentation with existing and prospective clients.* Act as the primary business contact with internal stakeholders for the onboarding of new Core Trade client relationships and the issuance of Core Trade products.* Manage the Core Trade deal pipeline and other internal tracking as required.**Job Requirements*** Undergraduate degree with a demonstrated interest in finance with 3-5 years of progressive experience. CFA or MBA is considered an asset.* Excellent relationship and client management skills, the ability to analyze and solve complex problems, multi-task, and manage tight timelines.* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.* Results oriented, team player with a solution-oriented approach and ability to manage complex situations with tight timelines.* A strong understanding of credit and trade finance documentation.
