THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL We are looking for a Bilingual Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Sales team, based in Toronto (GTA). This individual will drive sales within their territory by establishing and developing stable, longterm relationships with partners, advisors and direct clients and nurturing and deepening these connections. - Identify, build, and manage new and existing relationships with advisors and direct clients. - Provide facetoface consultation to advisors and clients on GreenShields suite of products. - Build internal relationships to maximize opportunities. - Represent GreenShield through regular interaction with advisors and distribution partners and attending industry events. - Update and maintain CRM. - Develop and implement territory sales business plan. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Completion of University degree or College diploma. - 3-5 years of Group Insurance or Benefits related sales experience. - Hold a valid LLQP (or willing to obtain). - Indepth understanding of underwriting principles, technical pricing capabilities and group insurance product and policy provisions. - Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships. - Welldeveloped communication, negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills. - Welldeveloped sales and marketing skills. - Exceptional lead generation and nurturing skills. - Knowledge of the group insurance products and sales activities of competitors. - Knowledge of rules and regulations as they relate to Group Benefits products would be an asset. - Knowledge of employment legislation as it relates to employee benefits. - Knowledge of CRM is an asset. - Ability to travel and access to personal vehicle and driver's license NICE TO HAVE - GBA and CEBS would be considered an asset THE CULTURE We believe a career should be meaningful.
