Project Engineering Designer / Mechanical Designer (EIT) Job Category: Engineering Requisition Number: PROJE008983 - Posted : April 13, 2026 - Full-Time Locations Showing 1 location - Pay or shift range: $67,000 CAD to $70,000 CAD Description Job Summary: CIMCO is seeking a Project Engineer Designer to join our Ontario Projects team. This role will be based out of our Whitby office. Role Responsibilities: - Development and design of industrial refrigeration systems - Comprehensive drawing of mechanical and / or electrical systems - Realization of technical surveys - Selection and purchase of equipment, materials, and the tracking of orders. - Preparation of For Coordination, For Construction and 'As Built' plans - Preparation of instruction and operation manuals - Monitoring work on multiple construction site(s) Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering - 1 to 5 years of experience (depending on the training received). - Training and / or experience with AutoCAD and Revit (3D modeling). - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment. - Knowledge of industrial refrigeration; screw compressors, NH3, CO2, would be an asset. - Knowledge of the SAP platform would be an asset.
