Maintenance Electrician GTA ($3844/hr) - Night Shift A licensed Industrial Electrician is needed to support nightshift operations in a highvolume manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting automation equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient plant performance. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and repair electrical production equipment, building electrical fixtures, general lighting, and emergency/exit lighting systems. - Install new equipment and modify existing machinery as required. - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults, including PLCbased systems, ensuring all controls and safety devices operate correctly. - Perform scheduled monthly and annual preventive maintenance, replacing or repairing components as needed. - Carry out basic mechanical maintenance on machinery and automation systems. - Coordinate replacement parts ordering through the Maintenance Supervisor. - Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with OHSA, Ontario Electrical Code, and internal quality/safety standards. - Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment through adherence to 5S principles. - Collaborate with Production, Tool Room, Quality, and Engineering teams as needed. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in electrical repair and troubleshooting. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings. - Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. - Grade 12 education and valid Industrial Electrician license 442a/309a - Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code, PLC programming, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
