View more on the company here: https://www.nationgold.ca/ Position Overview Nation Gold is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geologist to support ongoing exploration activities, permitting processes, and technical programs. This is a part-time, hybrid role ideal for an early-career geologist looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple aspects of mineral exploration. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO (based in Scottsdale, Arizona) and external consultants, contributing to both field and office-based geological work. The candidate will be expected to work with a small, experienced team. Key Responsibilities - Support field exploration and drill programs, including fieldwork at the Bonito Project in New Mexico - Conduct core logging, sampling, and geological data collection during drill programs - Utilize GIS and mapping software to compile, analyze, and interpret data - Prepare technical reports, summaries, and presentations - Coordinate and collaborate with external geological consultants - Maintain accurate geological databases and documentation - Assist with planning and execution of exploration campaigns - Assist with permitting applications and regulatory documentation Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelors degree in Geology or related field (required) - 25 years of relevant experience in mineral exploration or mining - Experience with drill programs (core logging, sampling, rig management, etc.) - Familiarity with U.S. permitting processes is a strong asset - Proficiency in GIS and geological modeling/mapping software - Strong technical writing and communication skills - Ability to work both independently and within a small team environment - Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor field conditions - Willingness to travel periodically to project sites in New Mexico - Must be a U.S. citizen What We Offer - Direct exposure to senior leadership and decision-making - Hands-on experience across the full exploration lifecycle - Opportunity to grow with an emerging exploration company - Flexible, hybrid work structure How to Apply Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role.
