Position Highlights: - Monday to Friday, Day Shift *flexibility required. - $115K$125K base salary (commensurate with experience) - Bonus + Overtime available - Benefits starting Day 1 - 3 weeks vacation - Work in a collaborative, safety-driven, and growth-focused environment Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff (Level 1-5, Stationary Engineers Class 2 & 4). - Mentor technicians and operators, ensuring efficient troubleshooting of mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical issues. - Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on critical equipment (boilers, refrigeration, rendering machinery). - Oversee the preventive maintenance program and ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards (CFIA, GMP, HACCP). - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and manage inventory. - Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OHSA and WHMIS regulations. - Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruptions and resolve equipment-related issues. Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in maintenance management in a food manufacturing environment. - Experience with refrigeration systems, boilers, and centrifugal equipment (e.g., rendering equipment, pumps, conveyors) an asset. - Refrigeration B Ticket (preferred), Ontario Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (433A) Certificate (asset). - Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills. - Knowledge of PLC programming, food safety, and regulatory standards (CFIA, GMP, HACCP, OHSA, WHMIS). - Tow Motor License (preferred).
