About the role The Program Manager role at RedCompass is a deeply hands-on delivery leadership role, responsible for the successful coordination and execution of multiple, interdependent project engagements. This is not a high-level governance, reporting, or stakeholder-only position. The Program Manager is expected to have a detailed, working understanding of what is happening across the program at all times. This includes operating at a granular, project-level depth where required, at times effectively acting as a Project Lead within specific engagements, while simultaneously maintaining macro-level ownership of the overall program, its dependencies, risks, and outcomes. This role suits someone who thrives in complexity, is energised by managing busy delivery environments, and takes pride in being the person who knows exactly where things stand. You will plan, track, and actively manage dependencies, risks, and issues across the program, while confidently representing the state of delivery to very senior stakeholders. When concerns arise, you will be able to clearly explain root causes, impacts, and mitigation options and demonstrate confidence that workable paths forward exist.
