Position Overview: The Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration and execution of E360s employee benefits and retirement programs across Canada. This role acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring accurate system configuration, payroll alignment, vendor coordination, and compliance. The position partners closely with Payroll, HRIS, HRBPs, and Finance to deliver a seamless employee experience. Key Responsibilities: Benefits Administration - Administer benefits programs in Dayforce (health, dental, life, disability, RRSP/DPSP) - Coordinate onboarding enrollments and ensure eligibility accuracy - Manage employee changes, updates, and terminations Systems, Data & Reconciliation - Administer Canada Life plans and maintain accurate records - Perform monthly reconciliations between Dayforce, carrier billing, and payroll - Investigate and resolve discrepancies; support payroll and finance reporting Leave & Disability Management - Manage LOA, STD, and LTD cases in Dayforce - Coordinate with employees, HR, payroll, and vendors to ensure compliance and proper tracking Payroll & Compliance - Partner with Payroll on deductions, taxable benefits, and reporting - Support year-end processes including T4 reconciliation and audits Employee Support & Vendor Management - Act as primary contact for benefits inquiries and escalations - Support HRBPs and managers with guidance on programs and policies - Participate in vendor meetings and provide insights/recommendations Process Improvement & Governance - Maintain documentation, controls, and compliance standards - Identify opportunities to improve processes, data accuracy, and efficiency Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with HR, Payroll, HRIS, and Finance to ensure alignment and data integrity - Support integrations and acquisitions as needed Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in benefits administration and HR/payroll operations - Strong knowledge of Canadian benefits and multi-provincial requirements - Experience with Dayforce and benefits carriers (Canada Life preferred) - Experience with reconciliations, audits, and payroll integration - Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills This is more than a job - its your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
