Location: Brazeau, Alberta (sitebased) Rotation: 7/7 or 14/14 Type: Contract We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Scheduler to support ongoing construction and project execution activities at an industrial site near Brazeau, Alberta. This role requires a senior scheduling professional with strong P6 capability and proven experience supporting oil & gas or heavy industrial projects. Key Responsibilities Project Scheduling & Planning - Build, update, and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 - Develop lookahead schedules, progress curves, and forecasting tools - Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks or delays - Integrate contractor schedules into the master project schedule - Track progress against baselines and report variances Construction & Execution Support - Work closely with construction teams to validate progress and sequencing - Support field execution teams with schedule updates and planning inputs - Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and site leadership - Provide schedulebased insights to support decisionmaking and project readiness Reporting & Communication - Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports - Communicate schedule impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies - Participate in project meetings and provide schedule status updates - Ensure schedule data integrity and alignment with project controls Required Qualifications Technical Requirements - Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) - 510+ years scheduling experience in: - Oil & gas - Industrial construction - Heavy industrial environments - Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field execution - Experience supporting multidiscipline project teams Additional Requirements - Strong communication and coordination skills - Ability to work on a sitebased rotation (7/7 or 14/14) - Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (International applications will not be considered) Ideal Candidate Profile - Senior scheduler with deep P6 experience - Comfortable working in a fieldbased environment - Strong understanding of construction workflows - Able to collaborate with construction, engineering, and project controls - Proactive, detailoriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
