Job Description

Remote role Engagement length 6 months; would be looking for someone to start asap. Title: Senior Developer/ CCaaS Consultant Responsibilities: - Lead the technical design and implementation of Amazon Connect call flows, routing, IVR/IVA, and integrations. - Plan and execute migration from Genesys (on-prem or cloud) to Amazon Connect, including discovery, mapping, cutover, and stabilization. - Build and integrate AWS services (Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, Step Functions, CloudWatch) for contact center functionality. - Develop and maintain APIs and CTI/CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow), including real-time and historical reporting. - Implement security, compliance, and governance best practices (IAM, encryption, data retention, PII handling). - Set up CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation/Terraform) for repeatable deployments. - Troubleshoot complex telephony and application issues; lead incident response and root cause analysis. - Create documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials; mentor junior team members. - Collaborate with stakeholders (operations, product, networking, security) and manage change/release activities. - Monitor performance and optimize cost, reliability, and customer experience post-migration. Required Qualifications: - 610+ years of software development experience with 3+ years focused on Amazon Connect solutions. - Proven hands-on experience migrating from Genesys (PureCloud/Cloud, Engage) to Amazon Connect or similar contact center migrations. - Strong programming skills in at least one: Node.js, Python, or Java; proficiency with RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns. - Deep understanding of contact center concepts: call flows, skills-based routing, IVR, CTI, screen pops, recording, reporting. - Telephony fundamentals: SIP, RTP, codecs, number provisioning, carrier routing, and call quality troubleshooting. - AWS proficiency across Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis/Streams, EventBridge, CloudWatch, and IAM. - Experience with CI/CD (CodePipeline/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), source control (Git), and IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform). - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
