OverviewGlazier, curtain walls or equivalent experience. On-site client service in commercial and retail settings, including installation, repair and maintenance of glass products and curtain wall systems.ResponsibilitiesDetermine kind of glass, structures and materials neededMeasure, mark and cut glassSet glass panes in frames; install premade glass, mirrors or glass productsMount doors, windows and other hardwareRepair glass doors and other glass frameworksAssemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipmentRead and translate plans, maps, illustrations and specificationsOperate at elevations, on scaffolding or swing stagesWork with various glass/material types and systems (curtain walls, spandrel panels, skylights, etc.)Install drape walls, skylights, incline glazed installations and aluminum store frontsInstall curtain walls and hold glazing systemsComply with safety protocols and site safety rulesRequirements / QualificationsValid drivers license and own vehiclePhysically demanding; able to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periodsExperience reading and interpreting plans and specificationsExperience with glass, framing, and glazing systemsWork ConditionsOn-site client service; outdoors and at heights; work can be in commercial or retail environmentsWork at heights and in cold/refrigerated or warm environmentsPotential travel to job sites; operating at elevations or on scaffolding #J-18808-Ljbffr
