Real Food for Real Kids, 115 Saulter St. South, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Job Description Posted Monday, April 6, 2026 at 4:00 a.m. Reports To: Director of Client Strategy & Growth Job Status: Full Time, Permanent, Salaried Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (flexible, as required) Work Location: Hybrid (Onsite or in the field 3 times per week) Compensation: Base salary of $60,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience, plus an incentive pay structure, based on performance. Capped on-target earnings (OTE) are estimated at $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Our Sales team is looking for a fantastic person who can build and grow new revenue streams to join us as a Sales Manager. The Position As Sales Manager at Real Food for Real Kids, you will drive new business growth across childcare and school foodservice while expanding into additional institutional and retail channels. With your experience navigating GPOs, RFPs, and structured procurement processes, you will manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery through proposals, tastings, and close - while delivering a thoughtful, consultative experience that reflects RFRKs values. This role will focus on new revenue streams, including frozen bulk and single-serve meals for healthcare, retail, and e-commerce channels, while also supporting childcare and school catering sales. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, influence how we grow, and help shape the future of our sales function. Institutional & Channel Expansion Identify and develop new opportunities in institutional foodservice for RFRK products including bulk and single-serve meals (e.g., hospitals, community programs) Expand RFRKs presence in retail and e-commerce channels Build and manage relationships with broadline distributors and partners Collaborate internally on pricing, packaging, and product-market fit Demand planning for retail and wholesale clients to inform production needs Ongoing wholesale and retail client management Sales Strategy & Revenue Leadership Identify and pursue new business opportunities that support our next stage of growth Build scalable sales processes and systems to support long-term success Manage inbound and outbound sales across childcare and school segments Lead discovery conversations that uncover operational pain points Deliver proposals, tastings, and presentations to key stakeholders Manage RFPs Maintain strong CRM discipline, forecasting, and pipeline management Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and risks About You Required Education & Experience 5+ years of experience in B2B food sales, preferably within foodservice and/or CPG Proven success launching or scaling products in new markets or channels Experience selling into institutional environments (e.g., healthcare, education, or public sector), with consistent achievement of revenue targets Strong track record of account management, including client retention and growth Experience working with or through broadline distributors Proficiency with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms Experience with RFPs, contracts, and structured procurement processes Passion for real food and mission-driven work Additional Skills Strong commercial instincts with a builder mindset Confident communicator with the ability to adapt across buyer types Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage client issues with professionalism and urgency Skilled in consultative selling and objection handling Highly organized with disciplined pipeline management Entrepreneurial, curious, and opportunity-driven Ability to leverage AI tools to improve personalization, forecasting accuracy, and sales efficiency Nice-to-have Experience in retail or e-commerce food sales Background in education, childcare, or healthcare-related industries Benefits & Savings Programs Employee Savings Program (RRSP and RESP Matching) Performance Bonus Program Employee & Family Assistance Program Wellness Spending Account Time Off: Begin with three weeks of vacation and unlock additional weeks as you achieve service milestones 8 paid sick and wellness days per year $500 each year towards professional development Real Food for Real Kids is an equal opportunity employer.
