Delivery Partner Yonge North Subway Extension Toronto Professional engineer or architect responsible for line-wide scope related to the design and construction of the Yonge North Subway Extension project through an alliance contract model. Your Key Responsibilities - Drives the project through a series of checkpoints leading to the ultimate delivery and acceptance by the client of a Target Price Proposal for the assigned component of the project. - Accountable for managing the scope of the assigned component of the Project, including interfacing with the project controls and commercial teams as required; ensures changes are managed within the clients change control processes. - Liaise with wider design team to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables across all areas of the project. - Work in a manner to protect the health and safety of Stantec employees, clients, and the public by following company health, safety and security guidelines and policies. - Address the many aspects of integration and risk mitigation systems integration, adjacent development integration, integration of multi-disciplinary design, integration of the early works projects/contracts with the main alliance contract. - Ensure sustainability is at the heart of decision making to ensure the right decisions are made for the future. - Help identify value engineering savings within the project design and construction phases. - Facilitate a project environment which is collaborative, inclusive, diverse and celebrates our differences. - Contribute to a high performing culture open to constructive challenges, seeking continual improvement and implementing lessons identified from experience. - Lead by example with active support of internal and client policies and practices, including risk management, project management, safety practices and quality management. - Grow internal and external networks to enhance Stantecs reputation and identify additional talent to join our team. Your Capabilities and Credentials - Experience with APD projects in the transit industry. - Experience with the design and construction support of complex transportation projects. - Experience developing, negotiating, and managing project scope, schedule, and budget. - Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of technical and professional staff. - Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a dynamic and energetic environment. Education and Experience - Completion of a university degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field with relevant certification. - Minimum 6 years of relevant experience. - Project management skills to manage selected complex, high-risk projects from start to close-out under pressure to meet schedule and budgetary commitments. - Extensive experience related to the planning, design, and construction of transit facilities, heavy rail infrastructure, and related works. - Combination of project delivery experience on client side and contractor side is an asset. - Experience with developing and managing design and associated costs, schedule and risks; owner side experience or contractor bid phase development experience is an asset. - Experience with change management and implementation within a production environment. - Dynamic leadership and employee engagement skills. - PMP is an asset. Pay Range Pay Range: Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario: $111,700.00 - $167,600.00 Annually Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
