Position Summary We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to support our shipping teams for both local and international orders. Key Responsibilities Manager - Process shipping and receiving documents - Quality checks - Ongoing staff training and supervision Key Responsibilities Team - Pick fresh, frozen and dry goods and prepare them for shipping. - Prepare boxes and materials for shipping orders. - Pack seafood items as required for shipping - Receive and inspect incoming shipments of fresh and frozen seafood products - Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records - Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely - Report any damaged or spoiled products to supervisors - Label products and boxes according to shipping or regulatory requirements - Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified or trained) - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow all safety and handling procedures Qualifications - Previous experience in a warehouse an asset. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment - Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly - Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment (protective gear provided) - A strong understanding of the Halifax regional Municipality. - Having grew up in the area or lived here for sometime - $25 - $28 per hour, depending on experience - Cost-shared medical and dental coverage - On-site parking Job Type Full-Time Hours 38 45 hours per week, depending on the time of year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
