Impact patient health as a Lab Technician specializing in specimen collection. Provide essential support to patients and healthcare practitioners in a part-time role with a focus on skillful interactions. In this role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of specimen collection, from initial patient greeting to the preparation of samples for transport. Key tasks include performing phlebotomies and ensuring compliance with testing protocols, while building rapport with patients to enhance their experience. You will also maintain meticulous records and uphold confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and clarify specimen collection processes Execute phlebotomies and connect/disconnect monitors Oversee special test collections with appropriate documentation Maintain client communication and gather necessary information Ensure accurate data entry for patient requisitions Requirements: Preferably a graduate of an approved Laboratory program Experience in phlebotomy is an asset Training in ECG practices is preferred Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute Strong commitment to patient confidentiality and service Utilize your expertise in specimen collection to enhance healthcare quality and patient satisfaction. #J-18808-Ljbffr
