Position Type: Temporary Full-Time Grade: 7A Requisition ID: 41773 About the role Under the direction of the Chief Engineer, the successful applicant will perform duties and responsibilities as provided below. What youll be doing - Operation and maintenance of a 100,000 pph boiler & auxiliary equipment. - Operation and maintenance of a 3900 HP ammonia refrigeration system. - Responsible for lockouts of steam and ammonia pressure equipment. - Troubleshoot an Energy Recovery System (water water). - Completes maintenance work on steam, refrigeration, air compression, and utility water equipment. - Completes regular boiler and refrigeration water chemistry tests. - Changes filters, both air and oil, on various pieces of equipment associated with the boiler and refrigeration operations. - Must climb ladders and work at heights when working on several pieces of equipment. - Required to lift up to 50 lbs alone and 75 to 80 lbs with assistance. - In some areas will have to stoop, crawl and work in awkward positions in order to service equipment. - All other maintenance assigned tasks or functions as designated by Chief Engineer or designee. This position is based in a regulated manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Employees must consistently follow all GMP, safety, and hygiene requirements, including restrictions on jewelry, personal items, and attire while on the production floor. Compliance with these standards is an essential duty of the role to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Operational & maintenance experience with high pressure boilers and ammonia systems. - Physical Ability Physically capable of safely performing the work (i.e. while working at heights lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping etc.). - Computer Aptitude computer use as well as an understanding of associated software (i.e. SAP, Excel, Power Point). - Flexible Must be flexible with your schedule to support plant events and activities. Schedule begins off Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week, then works a 4 on 4 off 12-hour shift rotation. - Must be capable of obtaining H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry & Forklift Operator certificates. Contract Details This position is a contract position for four months. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8 hours.
