MOD Occupational Health Nurse Full time locum Peterborough RAF base Dream Medical are working with an RAF base in Peterborough and have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health nurse for a full time locum. Your role will be to implement, maintain and participate in health surveillance. The undertaking of clinical procedures such as Spirometer, Audiometry, Visual Acuity testing, Blood Pressure monitoring and routine urinalysis are to be expected. It will be required to provide information, advice and assistance regarding Medical Force Protection programme and to collect and record Occupational Health data, assist with the identification of trends in sickness and absence, and contribute to the generation of report as well as preemployment checks. Requirements: - Registered Nurse with NMC registration and Pin with no restrictions to practice - Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing Desirable: - Experience in undertaking fitness for work assessments and functional capacity assessments. - Experience in delivering the full remit of Health Surveillance - Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) experience.
