About the Company Our client is a leading technology company. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team! Why Work Here - Dynamic team - Company is growing rapidly - Hybrid work model About the Opportunity - Collaborate with Finance team members to prepare quarterly financial statements, note disclosures, MD&A, and related analyses and deliverables. - Prepare consolidation working papers, cash flow support, and documentation for select note disclosures. - Partner with external auditors, Finance colleagues, and cross-functional teams throughout the annual audit process. - Prepare month-end reconciliations and journal entries for complex corporate accounting transactions. - Support technical accounting research, analysis, and preparation of IFRS accounting memos. Monitor new and upcoming accounting standards to ensure compliance and assist with implementation. - Contribute to the accounting and analysis of significant transactions, acquisitions, and other complex areas, including assessing accounting treatment, performing quantitative impact analysis, and recording entries. - Complete assigned monthly and quarterly regulatory filings and internal reporting requirements. About You - A qualified CPA or CA with 3+ years of progressive work experience in external financial reporting and technical accounting under IFRS, either in industry or from a public accounting firm. - Strong knowledge of IFRS. - Strong knowledge of financial reporting and exposure to preparation of external financial statements and MD&A. - External auditing experience from a public accounting firm is required. - Background in or exposure to the telecommunications industry considered an asset. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills. - Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and handle changing priorities and tight deadlines. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - A high degree of integrity and professionalism.
