This is not a suitable position for new graduates or those requiring intensive supervision.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Providing high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, or families using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.Supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and stress.Delivering therapy virtually, with the option for hybrid in-person sessions in Etobicoke.Managing a caseload of approximately 1020 clients weekly, based on your availability and preferences.Bringing advanced clinical skills, strong case conceptualization, and confidence working with complex presentations.Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and practice policies.Contributing to a collaborative team culture through consultation, case discussions, and shared learning.Upholding cultural humility, inclusivity, and ethical excellence in all client relationships.Optional opportunities to mentor junior clinicians, support programming, or contribute to content and workshops.QualificationsMasters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.Current registration and good standing with Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).Professional liability insurance (minimum $2 million per claim recommended).Minimum 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience providing psychotherapy in private practice, agency, hospital, or community settings.Demonstrated experience working independently with moderate to complex client presentations.Strong training and application of evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, trauma-informed therapies, or attachment-based approaches.Experience working with South Asian, BIPOC, immigrant, or culturally diverse communities is strongly preferred.Excellent communication, professionalism, and reliability.Comfortable using secure virtual platforms and EMR systems such as Jane.Commitment to client-centered, ethical, and anti-oppressive practice.Compensation & LogisticsIndependent contractor model (therapist responsible for own taxes/remittances).Competitive fee split reflective of experience, clinical expertise, and contributions to the practice.Administrative support including referrals, scheduling systems, billing infrastructure, intake forms, and marketing.Flexible schedule with autonomy over your availability.Growth opportunities as the practice expands.Application InstructionsPlease send the following:Resume / CVCover letter outlining your clinical background, therapeutic approach, populations of interest, and experience working with diverse communitiesSend to: Clear Moon Therapy was built to support people who may have felt unseen, misunderstood, or disconnected from traditional mental health spaces.
