Job Description

THE ROLEAs a Delivery Management associate you will be responsible for the order and delivery management of parts from OEM suppliers. Upon receiving your supply base, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring of supply chain deliveries, expedite tracking, and investigating part supply and delivery concerns. Associate must be able to identify risk within their (suppliers) supply chain, be able to summarize the data, and elevate to team manager as needed. Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and ability to work under pressure on occasion are a must for this position. *RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor, manage and control abnormal supply chain conditions and escalate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) abnormalities and concernsDaily Management of OEM Supplier deliveries to the organizationDaily parts order release to OEM supply base (GPCS)Daily monitoring of the supply chains deliveries.Expedite recovery of Mass Production parts and tracking of expedite milestonesInvestigate part supply & delivery concerns. Issuance of Trouble Reports to OEM suppliers & evaluation of suppliers countermeasures.Create and present reports on supply chains QCDMS statusCommunicate & network with N.A Sites on supply chain activities and concernsREQUIREMENTSUniversity degree or College diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business or Mathematics OR minimum 2 years of equivalent experience in Supply ChainAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel; Use advanced functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) , manage and format data; *Demonstrated ability to analyze data and evaluate results, strong mathematical aptitudeStrong problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-taskDemonstrated ability to work independently and within a teamExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skillsPREFERRED EXPERIENCEOrganizational skills: ability to manage priorities and meet established deadlinesEDI, MS Outlook and other Honda system tools experienceExperience working in a fast paced, results oriented environmentKnowledge of supply chains and Honda OperationsKnowledge of part manufacturing processes and capacity analysisDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentJOB RELATED MUST HAVESWilling and able to work overtime/weekends on short noticeWilling and able to travel within North America on short noticeWilling to cancel pre-booked vacations based on business needsSupport Supply Chain shift rotationWilling and able to support Production when requiredJoin our exclusive talent pool for future opportunities with one of Canada's biggest Automotive Manufacturer.
