Through both our ZenaDrone and Drone as a Service subsidiaries, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of drone innovation across sectors and applications such as for surveying, inspections, maintenance, agriculture, and defense applications.The Business Analyst - Investors supports our understanding and decision-making pertaining to our companys equity by conducting financial analysis, peer research, and generating data-driven insights on our trading, investors, perception, and IR programs . This on-site role is based in Toronto and is part of our Corporate Development team and provides critical support for investor relations, financial performance tracking, and strategic business initiatives.This position is in office 5 days a week and not offered Remote or hybridKey Responsibilities:Investment & Financial AnalysisBuild internal financial models, valuation assessments (DCF, comparables), and forecasts.Analyze business performance metrics and financial results for insights and narratives.Support due diligence needs for investment opportunities or strategic initiatives.Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools.Market & Competitor ResearchMonitor industry trends, economic indicators, investor thesis and narratives from both institutional and retail investors.Track and evaluate our competitors and provide meaningful insights.Produce market intelligence reports for leadership.Investor Relations SupportAssist in preparing investor updates, earnings materials, and presentations.Help maintain investor communications, CRM tools, and documentation.Support investor meetings, events, and roadshows with insights for investor communications material, supporting videos and effective story telling.Respond to investor or stakeholder inquiries with accurate, timely data.Reporting & Data VisualizationCreate dashboards, charts, and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.Summarize complex data into clear insights for leadership and investors.Ensure accuracy and compliance with disclosure standards.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with finance, strategy, and operations teams to gather and validate data.Assist in aligning messaging, marketing content, and reporting for investor communications.Support long-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Risk & Performance MonitoringTrack financial, operational, and market risks affecting our companys equity.Produce ongoing portfolio performance updates for leadership.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.24 years in investment analysis, Capital Market analysis, corporate finance, or investor relations analyst experienceStrong financial modeling and valuation expertise.Experience with analytics platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook, or Refinitiv.Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization skills.Experience using IR CRM Platforms such as Irwin is an asset.Knowledge of US Securities regulations is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Professional judgment, confidentiality, and investor-focused mindset.Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.Working Conditions & BenefitsFull-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON.Occasional extended hours may be required during investor events or reporting cycles.Fast-paced, analytics-driven environment within Torontos investment sector.Opportunity to grow your career and learn working in a cutting-edge drone technology area for a global company.Play a pivotal role in helping to manage and grow the Corporate Development function.Work in a collaborative and innovative work environment with a mission-driven team.Full range of health and dental benefits and opportunity to participate in our employee stock option program.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on cutting-edge drone technology and AI-driven innovations in a fast growth company with outstanding personal growth potential.
