Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll-Time and Attendance Clerk will be responsible for preparing, importing, and processing Time and Attendance information for employees and temporary agency workers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with provincial and federal regulations. This role involves heavy use of ADP to manage workers data.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain and administer the Time and Attendance database, ensuring timely issuance, replacement, and updates of company physical timecards.Provide endtoend support for payroll processing for all team members, ensuring accurate reporting of hours worked for hourly (weekly and biweekly) and salaried employees using ADP Workforce Now (ADPWFN).Respond promptly and professionally to payrollrelated inquiries, ensuring timely issue resolution and clear communication.Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records in the HRIS system, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.Support newhire payroll setup by issuing and delivering company ID cards.Assist with payroll reconciliation and compliance activities across all payroll cycles (weekly, biweekly, monthly, and yearend).Prepare and deliver attendance and adhoc reports, including headcount, overtime, attendance, and hours worked for management review.Coordinate employee enrolment and eligibility administration for the Safety Shoes Program.Collaborate closely with the Human Resources team on payrollrelated initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement projects.Ensure full compliance with company policies, employment standards, tax regulations, and statutory deduction requirements.Act as vacation relief for Payroll Administrator.Other job-related duties.Qualifications and RequirementsPostsecondary education in the related field.At least 2 years of experience in a related field.Proficiency in written and oral communication in English.Strong computer skills, including Excel and database.Proven experience with ADP or any other HRIS and/or Time and Attendance systems is desired.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to apply a high level of discretion and confidentiality when managing sensitive employee and payroll data.Work schedule and location: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, on-site (50 Marmora St., North York, ON).At Upper Crust, we are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and accessible environment, where all employees are valued and supported.
