Location: On Site Winnipeg, MB Department: Air Moving Reporting To: Manager, PRCN Position Overview Price Industries is seeking a Research & Development Engineering Specialist to support testing and development activities related to HVAC air moving products. This role is responsible for executing product performance testing, analyzing results, and collaborating with engineering teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in generating performance data, improving testing processes, and supporting design optimization efforts across the R&D team. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include: - Set up and execute performance tests for HVAC products - Analyze test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements - Collaborate with design engineering teams to improve product performance and reliability - Support project engineering teams with data interpretation and field support testing - Generate and maintain catalogue performance data - Troubleshoot testing anomalies and recommend corrective actions - Develop and implement test plans and procedures aligned with industry standards - Identify and implement process improvements to increase testing efficiency and reduce costs - Write formal technical reports for internal teams, sales representatives, and project engineers - Maintain standardized testing processes and documentation - Ensure testing areas follow 5S principles for safety, organization, and efficiency - Adhere to safety procedures and identify opportunities to improve lab safety - Assist with planning, upgrades, and maintenance of R&D testing areas The ideal candidate for this position will have: - Experience supporting engineering testing or laboratory environments - Ability to analyze and interpret technical test data - Experience collaborating with crossfunctional engineering teams - Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills - Experience documenting test procedures and results - Strong communication and organizational skills - Detail oriented with a processdriven mindset - Selfmotivated and able to take initiative - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Education Mechanical Engineering degree or Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma, or equivalent experience Should this excellent opportunity interest you, please submit your resume, including salary expectations.
