Senior HSE Field CoordinatorOur client is seeking a Senior HSE Field Coordinator to support and enhance health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance across multiple field projects. This role acts as a senior member of the HSE field team, bridging field operations and HSE leadership while providing expert guidance and mentorship to HSE Coordinators. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies, lead site-level safety initiatives, support incident investigations, and drive proactive safety programs to promote a culture of safety excellence.Key Responsibilities Support the HSE Field Manager in implementing company-wide HSE programs across multiple job sites Ensure compliance with Ontarios Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), ISO 14001, COR, and other applicable standards Lead site inspections and safety audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and provide guidance as needed Lead or support incident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions Prepare and present HSE reports to leadership teams Analyze incident trends and recommend preventative measures Mentor and support HSE Coordinators Deliver training and ensure certifications remain current and compliant Identify opportunities to improve HSE performance and practices Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE into planning and execution Support emergency preparedness through drills and evaluations Promote a strong safety-first culture across all sites Perform additional duties as requiredRequirements 57 years of progressive HSE experience within the construction industry, including field-based work Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field CRSP, CSP, or NCSO designation is considered an asset Strong knowledge of OHSA, ISO 14001, COR, and related standards Experience with COR and ISO audit processes Ability to manage multiple projects and work with diverse teams Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in HSE software and Microsoft Office (SALUS is an asset) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesOur client is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and applicants feel valued, respected, and supported.
