Position Overview This Pharmacy Supervisor reports to the Director of Pharmacy Operations and oversees the receiving, preparation, and timely delivery of prescriptions while ensuring accurate inventory levels and providing customer counseling and education. Responsibilities - Supervise and provide guidance and direction to staff - Responsible for hiring and managing staff performance - Accountable for the financial and operational success of the department - Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients - Ensure medication and overthecounter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patient needs - Provide counseling to patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive and proactive manner - Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities such as public health days and clinics - Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues - Obtain and review budgeted sales and net contribution - Identify and report sales opportunities internally and externally - Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary) Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license (required) - Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail pharmacy environment - Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Strong peoplemanagement skills with the ability to motivate and coach others - Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism - Proven ability to build the business using communitybased marketing strategies - Strong problemsolving skills, including experience in formulating and executing action plans - Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy systems (asset) Compensation Hiring range: $50.00 $68.75 per hour (may vary based on experience, knowledge and geographic region).
