The organization is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of its clients through innovative and reliable approaches.About the roleWere looking for a Fire & Security Project Manager to run commercial and institutional projects from award to closeout. Youll coordinate people, material, schedules, vendors, and customers to deliver clean, code-compliant installations on time and on budget.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site, full-time position located in Windsor, ON. This role involves working with various teams, maintaining strong customer relationships, managing responsibilities across sales and project implementation, and ensuring clients are satisfied with the services provided. You will also:Be responsible for quoting and selling fire, security and network solutionsOversee project coordination, ensuring smooth execution and timely deliveryCoordinating technicians and subcontractors and ensuring customer satisfaction through project close-outCovering the geographic area between Windsor and LondonKey responsibilitiesManage multiple projects (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, intrusion, networking) from kickoff to turnoverBuild and maintain project schedules, milestones, and weekly status updatesCoordinate field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and site contactsReview drawings/specs, submit RFIs, track changes, and control scopePrepare submittals, closeout packages, deficiency lists, and turnover docsOrder/track material, manage lead times, and keep BOMs organizedSupport commissioning, verifications, testing, and customer trainingMaintain project financials: budgets, labour tracking, change orders, and billing supportEnsure safety, quality, and documentation meet applicable codes/standards and client requirementsMinimum Requirements5+ years project management experience in fire alarm and/or security (commercial/institutional)CFAA certification, or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of fire alarm verification/inspection workflows and security system deploymentsFamiliarity with ULC/CSA/Building Code environments (as applicable to Ontario)Experience with enterprise security platforms (VMS, access control)Valid drivers licenseProficient with Excel/Google Sheets; PM software experience is a plusStrong organization, communication, and problem-solving skillsComfortable reading drawings, specs, and coordinating installationsWhat we offerCompetitive pay based on experience ($100,000 - $130,000)Company vehicleHealth BenefitsEmployee Stock Option PlanGrowth role in a busy, established life-safety companyTo ApplyPlease email resume and cover letter to This job posting is for a current vacancy with Phillips Life Safety Solutions.
