You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines. KIE is a multifaced division of Kiewit with bestinclass technical expertise focused on designbuild and other collaborative delivery of infrastructure projects. District Overview Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering seamlessly transitions solutions from design to construction through the collaborative efforts of Design Engineering, Design Management, Proposals, Estimating, and Integrated Project Controls. Responsibilities - Lead team of Kiewit design engineers, subconsultants and partners. - Manage schedule and budget to ensure successful outcomes. - Manage deliverables, quality and compliance. - Participate/lead constructability reviews and the resolution of technical challenges. - Interface with construction project leadership. - Interface with other Kiewit operating districts. - Identify designbuild opportunities and develop win strategy for capture. - Interface and maintain relationships with external design partners. - Support pursuits of designbuild and alternate delivery projects from strategy to award. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of experience with focus on design, construction or designbuild management in the transportation and/or energy infrastructure area. - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related engineering degree. - P. Eng is required or Engineer in Training (EIT). - Familiarity with designbuild/alternative delivery is a plus. - Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative. - Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time. - Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt. - Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. - Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives. - Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail. - Ability to travel between 25%-50% across North America.
