As a Christ-centered middle and secondary school, MBCI equips students to learn, love, and engage with the world. Applicants for this position should: Be committed to Christian education rooted in Anabaptist teachings Be a compassionate student advocate, equipping staff to support diverse learning needs Demonstrate skill in conflict transformation and collaborative problem-solving, with a commitment to restorative practices Demonstrate strong organizational and administrative skills, including record-keeping, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities Value collaboration with staff, parents, and school leadership Duties and Responsibilities: Work within MBCIs Student Support Team to provide holistic support for students personal, spiritual, academic, behavioural, and interpersonal development Coordinate clinical services with external providers as needed Provide leadership in literacy development, supporting school-wide practices that strengthen reading and writing across subject areas Provide leadership and support to Education Assistants and the peer tutor program Collaborate with teachers to develop, implement, and evaluate Student Support Plans; facilitate professional learning as needed Partner with school leadership, staff, and families to identify and respond to student needs Provide ongoing learning support for international students Qualifications: A Christian person with active church involvement Training and/or experience as a Resource Teacher, or willingness to continue certifications and engage in professional development Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
