About the role As an HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic partner to operations leaders, advance workforce planning, support employee relations, analyze HR data, and ensure compliance with employment laws. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical acumen, and handson execution in a fastpaced operational environment. Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnership Partner with operations leaders to support business objectives, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. Provide HR guidance on organizational design, performance management, and leadership development. Support operational scaling as the company expands its logistics and lastmile delivery network. Employee Relations Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on workplace issues. Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions. Promote a positive and compliant workplace environment. Workforce Analytics & HR Data Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, overtime, headcount trends, and employee productivity to support datadriven decisionmaking. Partner with operations leaders to identify workforce trends and provide insights to improve retention and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain HR reports and dashboards to support leadership visibility. Support and monitor timekeeping processes to ensure accurate tracking of employee hours and compliance with wage and hour laws. Collaborate with payroll and operations teams to resolve timekeeping discrepancies and ensure accurate payroll processing. HR Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour regulations. Support HR policy implementation and HR program rollout across operational sites. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (recruiting, payroll, benefits) to deliver HR services effectively. Qualifications Required Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3+ years of HRBP or HR Generalist experience supporting business leaders. Experience supporting operationsdriven environments such as logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or field operations. Strong knowledge of Canada employment laws, including wage and hour compliance. Experience managing employee relations investigations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and workforce metrics. Experience working with timekeeping systems and attendance management processes. Preferred Experience in logistics, supply chain, or lastmile delivery operations. Experience supporting multisite operational teams. Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Kronos). SHRMCP / SHRMSCP or PHR certification. Bilingual in English and Mandarin (plus). Skills & Competencies Strong business partnership and stakeholder management skills. Datadriven mindset with strong analytical capability.
