About the Role We are looking for ambitious, movieobsessed students to join the IMAX Internship Program this Summer. This 10week program (JuneAugust) is designed to provide handson learning, skill development, and realworld experience in a collaborative and innovative environment, based in our Sheridan Park office. Reporting directly to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the intern will support product certification, development of new electronics, and sustaining engineering across IMAXs product portfolio. Responsibilities Review schematics, PCB layouts, interconnect diagrams, and test procedures for the design engineering team. Create test setups and execute test procedures for the certification engineering team. Contribute to the sustaining engineering backlog. Learn and build familiarity with IMAXs product portfolio and theatre technologies. Partner with the engineering manager to improve business processes and help organize laboratory space. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience with circuit design and PCB layout (Altium experience preferred). Experience debugging circuit boards in a lab environment. Strong problemsolving skills. Passion for learning. Nice to Haves Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Passion for IMAX and the theatrical experience. Position Status New Role Active, currently vacant, and approved for staffing. Compensation $21.00 per hour. Placement within the range depends on experience, skills, internal equity, and regional market factors.
