Overview We are seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Lead (Refrigeration Red Seal) to join a growing HVAC team in Nova Scotia. This is a working lead position for a skilled technician who takes pride in high-quality installations, strong field leadership, and doing the job right the first time. You will lead installation projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure all work meets safety, code, and performance standards while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Lead and perform installation, maintenance, and service of residential and light commercial HVAC systems Install and commission heat pumps (ductless and ducted), ventilation systems, and controls Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues efficiently and accurately Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians in the field Plan, coordinate, and execute daily job site activities Ensure all work complies with Nova Scotia codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications Communicate professionally with homeowners and clients on-site Complete digital job documentation, service reports, and system records Maintain a strong safety-first culture on all job sites Required Qualifications Red Seal Certification Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic (Required) ODP Certification (or willingness to obtain) Proven experience in residential HVAC installation and service Experience leading or mentoring field teams Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and commissioning skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable using mobile apps and CRM systems for reporting Valid driver''s license with clean driving abstract Physically capable of hands-on field work What Sets You Apart Experience with heat pump installations and electrification projects Familiarity with energy efficiency or rebate-driven programs (e.g., provincial incentives) Ability to run jobs independently from install through commissioning Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship Heat pump installation and electrification projects: 2+ years Additional Requirements Experience installing and commissioning heat pump systems Led or mentored field teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
