ABOUT THE COMPANY: Our client operates in the food manufacturing sector, producing widely distributed consumer products, and has made significant investments in automation, equipment, and plant operations in recent years. ABOUT THE POSITION: The Industrial Electrician plays a key role in maintaining and supporting electrical systems and production equipment used in daily manufacturing operations. This position focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime. The role works closely with maintenance and production teams to support safe plant operations and keep equipment running efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to support equipment layout, troubleshooting, and installations Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and electrical systems Troubleshoot and repair automation and control systems including PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives, and related devices Support equipment setup, inspections, shutdowns, and process changeovers when required Assist with planning maintenance work, including job preparation and parts coordination Maintain accurate maintenance and service records QUALIFICATIONS: 3rd/4th year apprentices who have completed schooling and are working toward their required hours, with relevant industrial experience 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preference to candidates with experience in food or packaging manufacturing Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems Experience working with automated production equipment and conveyors considered an asset Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems in a fast-paced environment Shift: Continental Rotation (7:00am-7:00pm) Salary/Rate: $37.89/hour + Shift Premium, Benefits, Pension Location: Hamilton, Ontario Position Type: Fulltime, Permanent Qualified applicants, please contact We are recruitment industry leaders committed to quality service, integrity, respect, and equal opportunity.
