Job Description The Alberta New Home Warranty Program Group of Companies (ANHWP Group), is Albertas most experienced and most trusted new home warranty provider and educator for homebuilders. This position resides with The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP) and works alongside The New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC), the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta (PHBI), and Dweller Home Services. Accountable for Were looking for a creative and detailoriented summer student to support our Marketing & Communications team. This is a handson role ideal for a student studying marketing, communications, website development, or graphic design. If youre highly organized, designsavvy, and comfortable working in digital tools like Canva, WordPress, and Microsoft Office, wed love to meet you! Youll help execute real projects that make an impactfrom updating website content to creating branded materials, supporting events and inventory management. Youll get a behindthescenes look at how to keep marketing operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Website Support: Update web content and visuals in WordPress Template & Document Design: Refresh internal and external templates in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Design Support: Assist in creating onbrand marketing materials for print, digital, and events Event Prep: Help prepare materials and coordinate logistics for major summer events Inventory Management: Track and organize branded swag, printed materials, and marketing supplies General Admin: Support daytoday team activities, such as formatting documents, organizing shared drives, and supporting campaign rollouts Qualifications and skills Must be between the ages of 16 and 30, as this position is partially funded by the Canada Summer Student grant program Currently enrolled in a postsecondary education, in business/marketing or a related area and returning to a postsecondary institution following your work term. Candidates must be at least in the 2nd year of their Program. Available and legally authorized to work in Canada for a 14week fulltime workterm. Previous work experience with administrative duties and supporting teams would be an asset. Soft skills: collaboration with teams, strong communication and positive attitude all desired skills for this position. Knowledge & Skills Passion and motivation as a marketing generalist looking to increase knowledge of this area. Excellent verbal and written communication skills comfortable expressing ideas. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint) Experience with Adobe Creative Suite would be an asset Working understanding of WordPress required Ability to work independently and collaborate with crossfunctional teams and external partners/suppliers.
