Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) Team Leader to join our team at a client site. The GSOC operates 24/7/365 as the intake, triage, and response hub for physical security occurrences across the enterprise. This role involves onshift supervision and management, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team. Position Team Leader, Global Security Operations Location: Downtown Toronto Department: Global Security Operations Centre Reports To: GSO Operations Manager Job Type: Fulltime 6 Week Continental Rotating Shifts with day and night shifts (84 Hours biweekly). All hours are in the office; no remote shifts. Pay Rate: $80,000$90,000 Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management Lead a diverse team of security professionals, fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture. Supervise GSOC shift teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution of physical security occurrences. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance GSOC operations. Promote an environment of accountability and ownership among team members. Work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to increase operational efficiency. Regularly review and update standard operating procedures to adapt to evolving physical security threats. Mentorship & Development Provide guidance and support to team members, enabling professional growth and skill development through a tiered plan. Deliver coaching, training, and skill development to ensure high standards of response during incidents. Operational Excellence Oversee GSOC shift operations, ensuring timely responses to physical security incidents. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams for a cohesive approach to physical security across the organization. Occurrence Management Ensure incidents are triaged effectively and timely alerts are sent according to threat level, business impact, and proximity to client site locations or employees. Conduct postincident reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others. Proven ability to thrive in a fastpaced and highpressure environment. Strong understanding of physical security protocols, incident response, and risk management. Relevant certifications such as CPP, PSP, APP are a plus but not mandatory. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required. Bilingual (French/English) is an asset. Benefits Participation in the Company Health and Dental plan.
