We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment efforts, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver full-cycle recruitment and build strong, proactive talent pipelines aligned with project needs. This is a new on-site position based in Mississauga, working in a fastpaced, collaborative environment. The role also plays a key part in representing ACCIONA and ensuring a consistent, highquality candidate and employee experience that reflects our values and culture. Main Responsibilities Conduct high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for the ECWE project, and potentially across North America in time, for both technical (engineering, construction, infrastructure) and corporate roles. Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and timelines aligned with project and business needs. Conduct screening calls, interviews, candidate assessments, and direct recruitment efforts (headhunting) using structured and competency-based methodologies. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including interview coordination, reference checks, background verification, and offer preparation. Utilize Workday and/or BambooHR HRIS systems to manage requisitions, track candidate pipelines, and maintain accurate recruitment data. Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies tailored to regional markets and specialized talent segments. Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking platforms, and industry associations to identify and engage top talent. Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles. Support workforce planning initiatives by identifying future hiring needs and market trends. Act as a key ambassador of ACCIONAs employer brand, promoting the organizations values, culture, and sustainability leadership in all candidate interactions. Partner with both corporate and project HR and marketing teams to support employer branding initiatives, recruitment campaigns, and social media engagement (e.g., LinkedIn). Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring professionalism, transparency, and alignment with ACCIONAs reputation at every touchpoint. Contribute to storytelling and content (e.g., job postings, outreach messaging, recruitment materials) that reflect ACCIONAs mission and projects. Represent ACCIONA at career fairs, university events, industry conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and attract talent. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration Collaborate with internal stakeholders across projects and corporate teams to ensure alignment on hiring priorities. Provide guidance to hiring managers on market conditions, talent availability, and recruitment best practices. Support cross-functional HR initiatives including onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement activities. Recruitment Operations & Compliance Ensure recruitment processes comply with employment legislation, company policies, and data privacy standards. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization. Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally within construction, engineering, or infrastructure environments. Experience recruiting across multiple levels, from entry-level to senior leadership roles. Strong experience with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.) and HRIS platforms such as Workday and BambooHR. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. Experience coordinating onboarding, pre-employment checks, and recruitment administration.
