The opportunity The successful candidate will work in a team of multidisciplinary professionals with strong mentorship. The business unit, which operates with the full breadth of Michelins resources, delivers a specialized product line to its global internal customers with entrepreneurial spirit. What you will do: The role of the Process Engineer is to establish, define and monitor process parameters to ensure the quality of products produced. Responsibilities include: taking part in quality planning for products, materials, processes and methods; establishing and implementing quality standards and ensuring compliance; defining and implementing corrective and preventative action plans for improvement; designing and carrying out tests to evaluate changes with raw materials, equipment, automation and/or overall process; participating in quality planning, including feasibility studies; participating in product startups and evolutions; participating in projects and teams to resolve quality issues; acting as a liaison between local and global customers to resolve issues; supporting operations by monitoring production quality, performance, and maintenance problems and participating in necessary corrections; assisting in maintaining the product model. What you will bring: A Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process Engineering, or equivalent; 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred; strong mechanical awareness and the ability to work comfortably around mechanical equipment; the ability to develop digital tools; fully fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
