Position Description: The Homelessness, Addiction, and Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub is a collaborative initiative designed to provide a seamless continuum of care through a culturally responsive and healing-centered model. Tailored to meet the needs of individuals facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges, the Kenora HART Hub serves as a vital anchor for support within the Kenora geographical area, and surrounding communities. By delivering coordinated, compassionate, and evidence-based services, the HART Hub ensures equitable access to care. This approach integrates holistic and culturally grounded practices, to promote stability, healing, and long-term recovery for members who are most vulnerable within our communities. Reporting to the Director of Behavioural Health, the HART HUB Addiction Services Manager will oversee addictions services provided in Kenora and in local First Nations to provide management and leadership to case managers and therapists; with services being provided in Kenora and local First Nations communities. This position plays an important role in ensuring case management is effective, accessible and culturally safe through developing close relationships with Kenora HART Hub partners and First Nations stakeholders, and in recruiting and developing staff. Position Title: Addiction Services Manager Term: Full-time Location: Kenora, ON Reports to: Director of Behavioural Health Starting Salary: $80,000.00 Key Areas of Responsibility: - Provide direct management and leadership to front line staff - Lead recruitment efforts - Provide ongoing coaching, support and performance review - Plan team meetings and professional development - Plan & Evaluate Programs and Services - Develop program and service delivery plans - Ensure accurate and timely data collection - Work with HART Hub and First Nations partners to ensure ongoing service evaluation - Create service delivery model that is accessible and innovative - Support and Lead HART Hub Initiatives - Work closely with Hart Hub partners and First Nations stakeholders - Support building and evaluating effective pathways - Deliver crisis intervention and care for high-risk individuals accessing the HART Hub and connecting them to the appropriate additional support needed. Qualifications: - 2+ years working in mental health and addictions - Experience managing and leading others an asset - Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage others through a person centred approach - Effective communication skills - Passionate about leading others, and in supporting people living with mental health and addictions - Knowledge of the Anishinaabe culture and language, and experience working in First Nation communities is an asset - Ability to demonstrate and work through a lens of sensitivity to diversity related to race, religion, culture, cognitive functioning, poverty, sexual orientation and gender identity.
