As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced EnvironmentManager to join our team.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Environment Manager to lead the strategy, design, and coordination of application environments and infrastructure for a large-scale transformation project in the financial services domain. This critical role will oversee the integration of a number of systems, requiring a high level of visibility and collaboration across multiple internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise and a strong ability to lead efforts to ensure the smooth provisioning, management, and uptime of the environments across various stages of development and testing. This role will also be responsible for leading, managing and guiding a team of environment specialists.While the role does not require hands-on scripting or system development, it demands strong leadership and coordination to manage and optimize complex environments and ensure successful project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:You bring 10+ years of hands-on experience in Environment Management and Application SupportEndtoend management of test and nonproduction environments (Dev, SIT, UAT, PreProd)Youve had hands-on experience managing diverse systems (e.g. mainframe - preferred, linux, windows, etc.)Experience supporting enterprisescale applications in complex environmentsProven experience with both onpremise and cloud-based infrastructure and platformsYou understand and appreciate the importance of timely environment provisioning, refresh, maintenance, patching, and decommissioning, as critical elements of effective management of environments and dependenciesYou experience has given you an edge as it relates to Environment inventory management, configuration tracking, and documentation to ensure repeatable successYou have a good understanding and proven experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices / areas, including: Incident management, major incidents, problem management, defect management, etc.You have proven experience leading and driving resolution to major incidents, including triage, coordination, resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA)You apply critical thinking to understand the root causes, and can implement permanent corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future incidentsExperience working with industry standard service tools related to - Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, Monitoring, etc.Project and release coordination to ensure environment readinessRisk and dependency management across multiple concurrent projectsCollaboration with infrastructure, network, database, middleware, and cloud teamsNice to Have:Experience in the Finance Domain, including Payments, Banking, Trading, and Capital MarketsKnowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWSStrong background in Infrastructure ManagementAt BrainRidge Consulting, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
