The Load Cell Repair Technician is responsible for the initial investigation and reporting of the returned part and subsequent rework and is responsible for the quality of their own work. Clean incoming Load Cells and ADTs. Strip units down as required to do the inspection. Inspect Load Cells and ADTs according to prescribed procedures. Complete the Repair Report which includes identification of faults and recommendations for repair to be approved by Engineering. Clean, rework and re-cable of customer returned goods. Manufacture cables for repair and new orders. Cable attachment of new Load Cells Recording of work completed using prescribed forms as required. Other duties appropriate to this position. Safe handling and operation of all required tools and chemicals Zero EHS incidents in his/her area Maintain a clean and organized workspace Maintain gaging equipment to ensure they operate safe and well, and alert the supervisor as soon as repairs or scheduled maintenance is required Follow all company policies and proceduresQualification: High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred. Minimum 35 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges, DROs, etc.). Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection documentation. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts. Able to lift 50 lbs., and to work in a manufacturing environment with a moderately noisy setting.
