They respect, believe and invest in our people, who in turn deliver the highest level in service to our customers.PURPOSETo provide supervisory oversight for a group(s) of Concrete Reinforcing Technicians (CRTs), including coordinating work, ensuring that job standards are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDemonstrate leadership Monitor and assess the performance, workload balance, and overall development of team members to ensure alignment with project objectives, company standards, and operational expectations.Supervise CRTs, review their work, and provide guidance, coaching, and support to help resolve challenges, correct deficiencies, and promote continuous skill development.Provide clear direction to the team to support successful execution of project objectives, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, quality requirements, and safe work practices.Actively track project progress, including employee performance and assigned tasks, ensuring accurate and timely updates to support decisionmaking and project outcomes.Lead the team in achieving measurable operational and financial success by monitoring project financials, identifying costsaving opportunities, and ensuring accurate reporting of labour and material expenditures.Continually reassess drafting techniques and recommend integrated, costeffective solutions to improve efficiencies and contribute to the development of recommended actions.Assist in the performance review process for assigned CRT personnel, including providing performance feedback and recommending appropriate salary adjustments based on business needs and individual contribution.Perform other duties as required by your supervisor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSVocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college or equivalentAt least 1-2 years of experience as a Senior CRT with a solid understanding of team workflowsMinimum of 3-5 years of supervisory or leading others, with demonstrated ability to coach and motivateStrong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationshipsAble to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilitiesGeneral leadership or supervisory training considered an assetExperience and knowledge of AutoCAD considered an asset PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS2-year technical diploma from an accredited school or collegeCritical thinking skills and have the ability to creatively motivate CRTsPHYSICAL DEMANDSTypical office activitiesWalking, sitting, standing, bendingUsing hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipmentLifting/handling computers and related equipmentVision abilities including close vision and adjusting focusModerate noise level
