We leverage the latest ServiceNow features, tools, and integrations to drive efficiency, reduce risks, and accelerate your digital transformation journey.Role DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and highly strategic ServiceNow IRM Business Process Consultant/Solutions Architect to lead our digital transformation efforts within Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). This role focuses less on coding and more on understanding complex risk frameworks, designing optimal processes, and mapping these to ServiceNow's capabilities.The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of experience in GRC consulting, with deep, hands-on experience translating business requirements into configuration strategies for Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Business Continuity Management (BCM) on the ServiceNow platform. You will be the crucial link between business stakeholders and the development team.Key Experience Required:Integrated Risk Management (IRM) - Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM), Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit ManagementAbility to define risk taxonomies, control frameworks, and assessment methodologies aligned to client risk appetiteExperience mapping regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, GDPR) to ServiceNow control structures and continuous monitoring workflowsFamiliarity with scoping compliance programs, defining attestation workflows, and building issue remediation processes within the platformThird-Party Risk Management (TPRM)Experience designing vendor onboarding and tiering processes, due diligence workflows, and third-party risk assessment programs on ServiceNowAbility to configure vendor questionnaires, risk scoring models, and remediation tracking aligned to industry standards such as SIG, CAIQ, or custom frameworksUnderstanding of third-party lifecycle management including ongoing monitoring, contract risk alignment, and offboarding processesBusiness Continuity Management (BCM)Experience implementing ServiceNow BCM including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), continuity planning, and crisis management workflowsAbility to work with clients to define Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), and map critical business services to continuity plansFamiliarity with testing and exercising continuity plans within the ServiceNow platform and aligning them to standardsKey ResponsibilitiesAs a ServiceNow IRM Business Process Consultant, you will:Platform Alignment: Design the optimal configuration approach for the required ServiceNow modules:Process Design and Analysis: Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) to elicit, analyze, validate, and document current-state GRC/Risk processes and define future-state optimized workflows, controls, and data structures.Requirements Management: Translate complex business requirements and regulatory obligations into clear, detailed, and actionable functional requirements and user stories for the development team.Stakeholder Management: Conduct workshops, deliver presentations, and facilitate decision-making among senior business stakeholders (e.g., Risk Officers, Compliance Heads) and IT teams.Quality Assurance: Define acceptance criteria, execute functional and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure the final deployed solution aligns perfectly with the defined business processes and compliance mandates.Technical and Domain RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in GRC, risk management, or compliance consulting, with at least 3+ years focused on architecting and implementing solutions using the ServiceNow IRM/GRC suite.Deep Module Knowledge: Expert-level functional understanding of the specified ServiceNow modules, including best practices for mapping business processes to: CAM, Policy & Compliance, Risk, TPRM, and BCM.Certifications: Industry certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISA, or CGEIT are preferredCertifications: (Strongly Recommended): Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance (CIS-RCS), or CIS - Third-Party Risk Management.ServiceNow Expertise: Strong working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform capabilities, data structure, implementation methodologies, and best practices (not a developer role, but technical fluency is mandatory).Essential Soft Skills & Professional AttributesWe are looking for a professional who demonstrates:Customer-Centric Mindset: A high degree of customer empathy, prioritizing deep understanding of user needs and translating complex business requirements into elegant, practical technical solutions.Strategic Planning (Sharpen the Axe): The discipline to 'Sharpen the Axe before Cutting the Tree,' emphasizing thorough analysis, solution architecture, and detailed design documentation before commencing development work, ensuring long-term maintainability.Active Listening: A commitment to listen more before speaking, ensuring complete clarity on requirements and constraints before proposing solutions, fostering trust and reducing rework.Exceptional Team Player: A proven ability to be a highly effective, positive, and collaborative team player, sharing knowledge and contributing to a supportive, high-performance environment.Work Eligibility & Security Statements:Work Eligibility: Authorization to work in Canada is a prerequisite for this role.Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance at the Secret level, if required.
