Our Financial Services practice group within our executive search practice is growing, and we are hiring a SENIOR SEARCH CONSULTANT in Toronto.The Senior Search Consultant will work with client leads (Partners and Principals) supporting executive searches across the North American Financial Services industry (Asset Management, Wealth Management, Insurance & Family Offices). The role has two main objectives; first, to drive a best-in-class client and candidate experience during every executive search mandate, and second, to develop and maintain relationships with exceptional executive talent. The Senior Search Consultant will be eager to build a career in Executive Search. Were looking for an individual who has the potential to make an impact and grow within our business. The role has the following responsibilities:BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT: Assisting with proposals, engagement letters, client presentationsand other external communicationsBuilding client and candidate databases; data management & analysis; preparation of reportsConducting industry specific research from primary and secondary sources; leveraging research for lead generationEXECUTIVE SEARCH DELIVERY:Supporting the entire recruitment process at every stageCreating job postings and executive packages for candidatesIdentifying prospective candidates through targeted company research, industry sources, relevant prior searches, databases, social media and other internal sourcesConducting pre-screening calls and/or virtual meetings to qualify prospective candidates for opportunities and presenting the opportunity to these individuals.Documenting candidate summaries and interview notes, and updating and managing client reportsUtilizing our CRM/ATS system ensuring data integrity and client access in real timeSupporting the calendar management for the Principals and Partners with respect to candidate interviews and client engagementsQUALIFICATIONS: 5-10 years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally from the executive search industry, or another relevant field.An undergraduate degree; an MBA would be considered an asset but is not a requirementExcellent written communication skills, with strong business and technical writing experienceAbility to truly listen, to be empathetic and open mindedAttention to detail, strong organizational, analytical, planning and project management skillsExceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with executives and senior leadersGoal oriented with a strong work ethicA track record of impact in your career and in your communityThis an opportunity to join a dynamic, passionate and collaborative team of search professionals.
