Job Title: Loan or Credit Officer (Bilingual English & Mandarin)Location: First Commercial Bank, Toronto BranchDescriptionThis is a full-time position. Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM (one hour lunch break). We are seeking a positive, careful and self-motivated team player to join.ResponsibilitiesEvaluates loan applications and documentation.Informing applicants to provide additional information or documents to improve loan application by HO requirements.Complete loan related documents or reports.Perform financial analysis and risk assessment where applicable.Submit application to HO for recommendation and approval which Mandarin written report will be necessary based on HO requirement.Review and update loan credit reports or files regularly.Review loan related agreements and ensure to comply with all approved terms and conditions by the Bank.Maintain client relationship or monitor clients business performance and collateral status based on approved terms and conditions by the Bank.Ensure KYC or AML requirement of loan clients in accordance with the Banks and government regulation.Assist loan data entry, loan disbursement related operation or loan review matters from time to time.Communicate effectively and works well with other departments within the Bank.Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.QualificationsBachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.Over 1 year banking experience preferred. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word. Good sensitivity and analytical ability on business performance and have patience with multi-task.Strong ability to perform detailed work independently under time constraints while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin both.NotesApplicant with a Canadian PR Card or citizenship are preferredFirst Commercial Bank Toronto Branch is a Schedule III Foreign Bank in Canada.
