Heres where you come in Broda is looking for a Maintenance worker to join our team. Millwright experience is an asset. You will be working indoors with a great group of people, collaborating with team members in various departments. Youll be involved in performing the maintenance needs of the facility and act as electrician, mechanic, and technician, all the while helping to build products that make a real difference in peoples lives. We are looking for someone who The maintenance position requires a high level of demonstrated knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, low and high voltage industrial electrical systems and metal manufacturing machinery. The purpose of the maintenace position is to perform the maintenance needs of the facility and act as electrician, mechanic, and technician. The role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhaul and repair of stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment across all departments. What you'll be responsible for - Work with outside contractors as needed - Maintain and repair the facility equipment and operating systems to ensure minimal machine downtime - Rebuild used equipment, as necessary, to meet all applicable codes prior to installation - Installations and/or modifications of facility equipment - Provide price quotes for repairs and/or equipment replacements - Repair industrial sewing machines - Support health and safety legal compliance and take initiative to maintain standards - Maintain a safe working environment for all employees - Completion of monthly Project Management tasks, and maintenance of IT system - Schedule and accompany vendors with building inspections and repairs - Oversee the work of an additional mechanic on evening shift Broda provides on the job training and continuous coaching in every department Some neat things we do/offer - Stable and secure 40/hr a week plus opportunity for overtime - All overtime is payable after 40 hours a week - Competitive wages - Lunchroom, with microwaves, fridges - Safety Boot allowance after 3 months - Safety equipment provided - Clean, well maintained work environment - Continuous on the job training - Inclusive, multi-cultural environment - Health & Benefits Package - Group RRSP Program - Opportunity for growth - On-site parking Broda Seating is an equal opportunity employer.
