Become a pivotal part of the hockey program as the Varsity Assistant High School Hockey Coach in Sault Ste. Marie. This role focuses on skill development, teamwork, and fostering student-athlete success. In this role, you will collaborate with the Head Coach to create a competitive high school hockey environment. Your background in coaching and positive student-parent relations will be crucial in motivating athletes and promoting sportsmanship. Key responsibilities include practice planning, game preparation, and everyday supervision at sporting events. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing training plans and practices Teach advanced hockey skills and game strategies Ensure safety and proper equipment use Communicate effectively with the Head Coach and families Support academic eligibility and adherence to policies Requirements: Prior coaching experience and strong program understanding CPR and First Aid certification required Ability to enforce district athletic policies Must pass a criminal history background check Valid Driver''s License necessary Support and inspire student-athletes to excel both on the ice and academically in a positive team culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
