Internship dates August 31st to December 18th, 2026 Location The position is based at 1801 Courtney Park Dr. E, Mississauga, ON L5T 1J3; from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site. What will your day-to-day look like? Load, deflection, stress and dynamic analysis using Ansys WB, Nastran, Hypermesh or LS/Dyna Engine and rig test planning including instrumentation requirements, test sequence and post test data reduction and evaluation LCF and HCF lifing of ECN hardware Thermal Analysis, including transient fire attack analysis Full engine system level modeling Stress analysis of composite aerostructures Act as technical focal point in support of engineering work done offshore What do you need to be successful? Be eligible to work in Canada. Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship. Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable. Have completed at least 2 academic years (4 semesters) towards a university degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering. Knowledge of load, stress, and fatigue life analysis for metallic and composite structures. Appreciation of gas turbine static and rotating structures. Strong practical mechanical aptitude Unselfish team-player Ability with programming using Python to automate pre and post-processing of large amounts of data Ability to work with a Global Team. Compensation The salary range for this role is 23.10 to 33.30 CAD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
