Description As a Wild Fork Team Member, your focus is to deliver a memorable experience to all of our guests. You will be trained to be a personal chef and friendly butcher, providing customers with recommendations on their favorite dish or protein. You will also manage inventory control to maximize product freshness, replenish low stock items, pick and pack online orders, and deliver a friendly checkout experience. This is a fulltime position with a starting wage of $18.50 per hour. Essential Tasks And Responsibilities Be a brand ambassadorenthusiastic and passionate about our quality products, educating the consumer on what Wild Fork stands for. Become a product and culinary expert by giving full effort during training to provide great recipes and cooking tips. Provide a butcherfriendly shopping experience by personalizing every step. Assist customers during the checkout process and deliver an unforgettable experience. Perform stocking duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds, rotating products, ordering, dusting, and cleaning the store. Oversee daily price changes and manage the cash register as required. Process customer ecommerce orders and oversee timely product handout for deliveries. Work in an extremely cold environmentincluding pulling racks, processing shipments, and performing monthly inventory in the walkin freezer. Perform other related duties as needed. Physical Demands And Work Environment Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force. Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures in walkin freezers. Stand/walk for up to 810 hours. Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and products. One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant required. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of people. Work with integrity as a team toward a shared vision. Be determined, deliver superior results with a sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization. Treat the role as ownershiptake responsibility for success. Act with respect and value other opinions. Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
