YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE Reporting to the Process Plant Electrical Supervisor, you will be part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for the completion of instrumentation related maintenance tasks in the Process Plant. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagles values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Completes planned maintenance tasks on instrumentation equipment in a timely and efficient manner Repairs and calibrates all onsite electronic and pneumatic instrumentation loops and equipment including flow meters and transmitters, nuclear density gauges, controllers, recorders, material weighting devices, control valves, valve positioners and PLCs Provides instrumentation expertise and advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills to assist Operations, Maintenance and Technical personnel in identifying and solving daytoday equipment problems Works from drawings and manuals in the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation equipment Analyzes work procedures and makes recommendations to improve their effectiveness Participates in failure analysis and/or risk analysis as required Engages in activities that contribute to the overall achievement of World Class safety performance where safety is owned and embraced by everyone Promotes a positive health, safety and environment culture and the Internal Responsibility System WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Certificate of Qualification as an Instrumentation Technician (Ontario #447A) with a minimum of two years experience in an industrial setting Valid Inter provincial Instrument Mechanic Trades Certificate (Red Seal #2243) is an asset Additional Trades Qualifications as an Electrician or Linesman, Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) would be considered an asset Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints High detailoriented and organized Effective communicator and able to work collaboratively with a team Your Work Schedule Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine.
